A busy port gives a ship many small underwater problems, and calling a different contractor for each one is a nuisance. Ship general diving port services in Nagoya Port cover the whole range under one team, one plan and one report.
These include UWILD and other in-water surveys for class, owner's Hull inspections, propeller and rudder inspection, thruster and sea chest checks, anchor and chain checks, and damage inspection after contact. We use CCTV and photographs, and the reports are prepared for class surveyors and technical managers. Always you can reach us. We are servicing every day
Cleaning covers Hull cleaning, propeller cleaning and polishing, sea chest and grating cleaning, and removal of marine growth and barnacles. We match the method to the coating, and we record before-and-after video so the owner has proof of the work.
Repairs afloat include doubler plates, small crack repairs, patching of leaks, valve and pipe repair with blanking, anode replacement, grating replacement, rudder and propeller minor repairs and cofferdam work. Our team prepares plans for class approval where needed.
We recover lost items such as anchors, chains, mooring ropes, tools and equipment dropped from the ship. We also clear ropes, nets and debris from propellers, thrusters and intakes. For lost objects, we work from the position given by the ship and report on what we found.
Divers can be on standby during critical operations, such as docking, heavy lifts, bunkering or ship-to-ship transfers where an underwater check may be required. A standby team brings equipment and a supervisor, and can respond at once if something goes wrong.
A single contact for the ship, the agent and the owner reduces confusion. If a job grows during the dive, we can extend the scope with your approval, so the ship does not need to wait for a second contractor. Our team holds ClassNK and ABS certification, which is useful when a surveyor needs to attend.
All diving is done under a written plan and risk assessment. The supervisor controls the dive, the standby Diver is ready and the engine room confirms isolation of machinery. We keep a diving log and give the owner a copy.
Send the ship's name, ETA, berth or anchorage position and the work needed. We reply with a plan and a price, and arrange the team for the first suitable window.
